Homeschooling Events at a Library Near You?

Tomorrow afternoon, the Oro Valley Public Library (AZ) is hosting a Homeschool Open House (the program’s on page 5 in the link). It looks like they’re planning to cover a lot in an hour (maybe too much?), but a plan like that will also convince homeschoolers that it’s worth their time to attend. And I love the positive, welcoming program description.

On Friday and Saturday, the Farr Regional Library (CO) will be hosting a number of homeschooling workshops. That’s an impressive lineup, both in the number of events and in the number and type of topics covered. I think there would something appealing for a lot of different kinds of homeschoolers there. If Colorado wasn’t so far away, I’d go myself.
